The
marché Bastille is one of Paris' best, running for several blocks north
along the Boulevard Richard Lenoir from the Place de la Bastille, in
the 4th Arondissment. In addition to fish, beef, lamb, horse,
produce, bread, cheese, and herbs, there are itinerant musicians and
vendors of clothing, housewares, and imports.
